The Finance Conclave Carpe Diem , the Finance Conclave, is the legacy event of Finance Society, Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.

Carpe Diem'19 was organized on the theme of “Impact of Budget 2019 on the Banking sector and the Investment Scenario.”
Expecting a second tenure for itself, the Narendra Modi government presented its final budget before the General Elections 2019 which highlighted the government's achievements as well as drew a picture of what it has planned for the next 5 years. The conclave comprised of a panel discussion among the industry stalwarts such as Meena Agarwal (Director, NIFM), Sanjeev Bhatia (CFO, PC Jewellers), Pawan Agarwal (CIO, Azure Power), Mahnedra Swaroop ( Founder, Venture Gurukool), Somakh Ghosh (Managing Partner, Contrarian Capital), Shailendra Tondon (Operating Partner, Asian Healthcare Fund) and Ira SInghal (IAS).

- Government initiatives & other reforms undertaken to improve the investment ecosystem and how the budget acknowledged India’s investment need.
FINATIC'19 was aimed to test your skills in Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets, Stocks, Derivatives and Valuation. The journey embraced three ladders that left the participants at their wits end. The event was open to all full time students of MBA as well as undergraduate students.
- Phase I: This round involved a quiz revolving around generic Financial Concepts, M&A, and current affairs of Financial world.
- Phase II: In this phase, the qualified teams were asked to analyse an M&A case study- HUL and GSK deal.
- Phase III: For the on campus round 7 teams were shortlisted to present their findings in front of the jury
